LOCATION: Burton, TX
The clients, an Austin-based creative couple with a recently-completed, Enabler-remodeled Spartan trailer, approached us with the idea of designing and building a dramatic trailer shed that did their Spartan aesthetic justice as well as protecting it from the elements. This piece would be the first step towards realizing the long-term vision of developing family land near Burton, TX into a weekend getaway cozy enough for their small family but flexible enough for bigger gatherings in the countryside. They were struck by the spirit of The Long Time as well as that of El Cosmico and agreed to go on our favorite type of journey: Design-Build-Design-Build-…-Adventure.
