Designs for a house near Johnson City, Texas had originally planned for a rolling Murphy bed / closet / space-maker to easily convert an open studio space into a guest bedroom. During construction, the “furniture” was not fabricated as it was deemed “too expensive, or too complicated” … and the home’s second owners sought us out to try again. We call it the ‘NOW BED’ and we don’t remember why.
