Jack Sanders and Butch Anthony were in Portland again this August, as “Visiting Artists” at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and Oregon College of Art and Craft joint program –  MFA in Applied Craft.  Program Director JP Reuer and 17 extremely talented artists worked directly with Butch and Jack, and several local non-profits to design and build a “community bicycle hub” in just 15 days.  The “hub” will be a place for volunteers to teach people basic bicycle repair and other bicycle related programming.   The design and build were fully collaborative – it’s amazing what we can do when we all work together!
