    “Cowboy Pliers and You Tube: A Design Build Adventure”
    The studio’s first big project is for the students to build temporary large scale

    A few years ago, Robert Gay’s THOUGHTBARN / and Design Build
    Adventure began work on the design of a pair of houses on a single 
    lot on Dallas Street in Marfa.

    Though construction has not begun on the two houses / 
    We have worked closely with the clients to help them begin to 
    enjoy their land – 

    We installed a new Airstream trailer with electrcity and plumbing,
    then built a retaining wall of plate steel , a new oil pipe and V-wire fence –
