A few weeks ago – we held the 2nd Summer Camp Design Build Adventure in Marfa.  We continued our collaboration with the Dersu Collective and made improvements to the East Side Play!  12 great “campers” , and interdisciplinary All-Star team of talent and enthusiasm – we wandered, gathered, ‘stretched with Jack’, ate (#farmhousedelivery thank you), drank (#dosequis thank you ), designed, presented, laughed, Venus-gazed, dug holes, poured concrete, drilled, and welded.   We did maintenance to the last year’s shade structure by sewing up tears in the alumi-net, adding some more wood chips, and building the ‘homework’ table.  This year’s campers designed and built new chin up bars, a tire play-scape, and the field of leaning and bent oil pipes – –  Already looking forward to the next camps .
