The Lance Armstrong Bikeway (LAB) is a 6 mile crosstown bikeway –
I was commissioned with Robert Gay (Thoughtbarn) and Leah Davis in 2005 (ish)
by the City of Austin Art in Public places to design and build the “integrated artwork”
for the bikeway. There are 30 something elements along the 6 miles including this
“tunnel”, several benches, several solar light “signs”, and some paint applications
on the roadway .
