Before these East Austin friends start work on their THOUGHTBARN designed home, they commissioned the Design Build Adventure team to come and hang a garden shed off the hill at the back of their property. Next to the chicken coop, bountiful garden, and even the prairie land restoration project, we had plenty of inspiration to start the project (and creative freedom). “Do your thing” was essentially the charge, as long as the finished shed could perform it’s functional responsibilities.

DBA designer Adrian Larriva developed the basic design, and took the rest of the crew to erect the Doonanny inspired, DBA signature – crooked oil pipes. We have completed the floor deck, and the roof structure and roof metal – and will be back out there this Thursday and Friday to start closing it in …
