La Cosmimosa | Trans-Pecos Festival
Design Build Adventure had a very moving presence at this year’s Trans-Pecos Festival in Marfa, thanks to DBA mobile-making genius Spence Kellum, who designed and built a kinetic sculpture called “La Cosmimosa.” Jack and his Marfa summer Camp DBA campers found street sweeper brushes and Kellum created the mobile’s bright pink “blossoms” in a binary “tree.” Special shout out to Taylor Tehan who helped build the mobile, and to the DBA crew who helped erect it at El Cosmico.
