Tomorrow Jack is lucky to head to Portland, Oregon again and work with the talented bunch of students at the PNCA OCAC (MFA Applied Craft and Design). The MFA students, neighborhood residents, with Jack and Butch Anthony will build a small bike repair shop / community hub in a bike skills park in N. Portland.

The rest of the Design Build Adventure team will remain under the blue tarp at the studio cranking out steel and wood furniture for Austin’s new Studio A, and some handsome hanging racks for the new Billy Reid Austin.  Here is a sampling (a “flash”) of our last few weeks, and while we are at it – a few photos of Beyonce in front of some Design Build Adventure constructions.

Steel Furniture / Brackets are off to powder coat.  Next time you see them  – RAL 5012. Pipe Trellis Frame is on East Caesar Chavez – home of the Jardineros. Shed gets paint this week / outdoor shower has gravel now and already in heavy use!  The Adventure continues …
